The Well Practice

10 girls’ nights
that replace gossip
with gospel.

  • Do you want to dive deeper into your faith alongside other women?
  • Do you struggle to maintain a daily devotional life?
  • Have you ever wished you felt closer to God?

This is your opportunity to get spiritually refreshed and learn how to truly live well according to Jesus.

The Well Practice Signature
Small Group Program

The Well Practice is an opportunity to dive deeper into your faith alongside other women aged 20-35. Through a 10 week program based on The Samaritan Woman at the Well, women meet in small groups led by a Facilitator and engage in challenging conversations that focus on spiritual growth, authenticity, and faith that leads to impact.

  • You’re a female between the ages of 20-35 (if you’re a little younger or a little older, this is still for you!)
  • You lack authentic community you can relate to and solid Christian girlfriends you can actually get real with.
  • You want to discuss things that are preventing you from a deeper relationship with God.
  • You feel unfulfilled and desire lasting peace in your life.
  • You finally want to figure out this whole Jesus thing.

When: Coming soon.

How it Works

Here’s the low down:

  • Choose: You will be able to choose between an In Person Group or Online Group for The Well Practice. In Person Groups are currently only available for the following areas: Surrey, Langley, Delta, Richmond, Vancouver, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, & Mission.
  • Enroll: After registering, you will be prompted to complete an application form that will allow us to place you in a small group that will suit you best.
  • Connect: By late August, you will be assigned to a small group of up to 7 people that meet weekly, either in person at your Facilitator’s home or exclusively online. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your Workbook has been shipped.
  • Devotions: Ten nights of Conversations are framed around ten opening devotionals based on The Samaritan Woman at the Well in John 4.
  • Discuss: Key discussion questions about faith and real life are designed to engage and go below the surface.
  • Dig Deeper: Homework questions that encourage you to reflect and dive deeper into the Word will need to be completed each week.

Following the ten weeks, we will celebrate completing The Well Practice together with every participant nationwide! Join a special online event and come together to hear each others’ God stories. Tuesday, November 30th, 2021.

How We’re Different

3 Things That Make
This Different:

  • Real TALK: We speak with a challenging voice that stays away from “Christianese”. We encourage authenticity and vulnerability – there’s no judgment here.
  • Real LIFE: We are all imperfect women figuring out this whole Jesus thing. We are committed to replacing gossip with gospel and keeping it real over a glass of wine & a good ol’ charcuterie board.
  • Real INCLUSIVITY: We view young women as equal regardless of life stage. We do not identify you as either “wife” or “single.” You are more than a “mother” and you are not your “career role.” You are God’s gorgeous daughter, and you are welcome here.

About the Founders

The Well Practice was created by Malissa & Nicole (hey heyy!), two girls who have been massively impacted by Jesus.

We realized there was a gap for Christian women our age, and we wanted to fill it.
But more than that, we knew what WE most needed. We needed community. We needed solid Christian friendships. We were pretty much a mess.

We used to be very far from God – living life our own way, running away from pain and towards pleasure, getting into all sorts of things that seem “normal” to the world. But they were things that left us empty and broken.

Today, after experiencing God’s healing and transformative work in our lives, we are deeply dependent on Jesus and have truly never felt more at peace. We have been changed from the inside out. A relationship with Jesus can do that.

This was our story: experiencing incredible transformation from truly knowing Him. And we want the very same for you, too.

Here’s what else we know: You weren’t meant to do this alone. In order to get from where you are to where you want to be, you need to be part of an authentic community. That’s why we created The Well Practice.

Enrollment for The Well Practice opens 2-3 times per year during a two week period. Enrollment for the next semester will open on Monday, July 5th until Monday, July 19th.
The Fall 2021 semester will start the week of September 14th, 2021, either Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
A lot of intentional prayer and consideration goes into small group placements. Factors such as geographic location, age, marital status, group type, weekly preference, and friend requests are all important considerations.
Each night consists of a simple 3 part structure: Devotional, Discuss, and Dig Deeper.

Devotional: Your group will read through a short story based on the Samaritan Woman in John 4 to set up each night’s conversation. Each story is centered around a different topic.

Discuss: The majority of the evening consists of interactive discussion questions designed to go below the surface. Discussions are relevant to different life stages, struggles, relationship statuses, or denominations.

Dig Deeper: This is the homework that everyone completes for the following week and is heavily geared towards self-reflection and evaluation. Homework review is often incorporated near the end of each night.

We are a non-denominational organization and welcome all faith backgrounds. We take the authority of Scripture very seriously, and we encourage you to read our Statement of Faith here.
In Person groups are only available in certain locations. These groups meet in the home of your Facilitator. A snack plan will be organized which will include food and beverages each week. These groups are ideal if you prefer face to face interaction.
Online groups meet exclusively online via Google Meets. These groups are ideal if you prefer the convenience of staying in your own home. These groups make The Well Practice available to you from any city and in any country.

Both group options will receive a hard copy of The Well Practice workbook in the mail.

The price for 10 week program of The Well Practice depends on the group type you select:

Online Group: $95
In-Home Group: $115

Early Bird pricing when enrollment first opens is the very best deal for The Well Practice and offers 20% off either group type.

We spend twice as much time coordinating In Person groups due to logistical challenges and geographical factors, so the difference in cost reflects additional administrative hours. There is a lot of work that goes into the creation and organization of each small group experience, but our raving testimonials make it all worth it!

There are 10 consecutive Conversations in The Well Practice. Your group will meet once a week from 7:00-9:30pm PST. We ask that all Participants commit to attending all 10 sessions and come to each night with their homework completed. Homework should take between 1 – 1.5 hours per week.
On your application, you can request any friends you would like in your group. We cannot guarantee you will be placed in the same group as everyone you request, but we will do our very best to assign you together.
On your application, mention the full name of the Facilitator you would like to be assigned to and we will do our best to make it happen!
Absolutely! The Well Practice is designed to be relevant no matter what season of life you’re in. The questions are intentionally designed to be answered in hundreds of different ways and there are no right answers. Whether you take it two or ten times, you will have a different experience each time.
We are happy to offer you a full refund within two weeks of your purchase if you are no longer able to attend The Well Practice. If there are extenuating circumstances beyond two weeks of purchase that prevent you from attending The Well Practice, please email us at
